-Transport attendant, Hospital, senior residence, home and others.
-Funeral day porter/pallbearer Skills and personality profiles;

Skills;

-High school diploma (minimum or equivalent)
-Driver's license (Class G minimum)
-Skilled with computers, filling out documents
-Clean and professional appearance
-Good physical condition/ No restrictions/ Able to support 80 to 100 lbs. (Attendant and carrier)
-Well spoken, bilingual English/French
-Dedicated to helping grieving families

Ideal personality profile;

-Retired or can offer good availability 24 hours a day, weekdays and weekends.
-Available on call
-Experience working with the public, customer service.
-Works well in a team environment

Our staff at Berthiaume Family Funeral Home has been committed to providing exceptional, empathetic and personalized service to families since 1896. We are looking for a new full-time Funeral Director (Class 1), or a student wishing to intern as a Funeral Director (Class 1), to join our team.

The successful candidate should be passionate, highly organized, a good team player, an excellent communicator, reliable, organized and interested in making arrangements with families, working in a laboratory setting and directing funeral services.

Tasks that our directors routinely undertake and that the candidate can expect to do include: completing arrangements and pre-arrangements with families, arranging and participating in transfers of remains from the place of death, coordinating burials and cremations, issuing obituaries, completing government stationery with families, completing embalming and minimal preparations as well as many other daily tasks.
